The view
Moore Creek Campground is a large group site situated on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake. This cozy campground is partially shaded and can accommodate both tents and RVs.
We have the whole campground to ourselves with space for 50+ people to camp. All are welcome, so bring your friends (and friendly pups).
Water and vault restrooms are available onsite. Other than those, plan on roughing it - bring everything you’ll need to enjoy the great outdoors for the weekend. Bring a lock for the bear boxes!!
The campsite is lakeside with access to the water. Pack swimsuits & floaties!

Get on I-5 North from downtown Sacramento.
Stay on I-5 North for about 160 miles (roughly 2.5–3 hours).
Take exit 695 for Gillman Road / Lake Shasta Caverns Road.
Turn left onto Gillman Road, then follow signs for Moore Creek Campground.
Continue a few miles along the lake until you reach Moore Creek Campground (on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake).
