Think: a disco in the woods where everyone is family. Play over perfection. Respect over rules. A little weird is required.
Who better to DJ our mini rave than the rave fam itself? The lineup features our talented friends, as seen on the home page.
If you'd like to play a set, we'd love to add you to the lineup! Just reach out to James Hallahan, our music coordinator :) 707.344.2744.
Keep it safe, respectful, and consensual. Harm reduction over judgment. We are over an hour away from any hospital so follow your own risk profile. Otherwise, have a great time!
Lock for the bear boxes! We had a few break-ins last year
Water shoes for the lake
A swimsuit & towel you don't mind getting dirty (the red mud tends to stain)
Shoes you don't mind getting dirty (again...red mud)
Sunscreen & bug spray
Layers for night time
Snacks & drinks
Reusable water bottle
Camping stuff...obviously
Rave stuff...also obviously
The two main costs are the campsite ($800) and the generator ($400).
We'll split those costs among all attendees. We won't have a solid number until we know how many people are coming, so please RSVP! Historically we've had 20-30 people, and we're hoping for even more this year.
Smaller things like camping equipment, music equipment, etc will be community sourced, so please bring anything that'll support the community or the vibe.
We'll be on Lake Shasta at a large campsite. Check out the Venue tab to learn more.
The campsite can comfortably fit 50 people, or more if you're down to get cozy.
The site can support a few smaller RVs. There are no hookups. Please let us know in advance if you plan on bringing an RV so we can plan space.
There are several bathrooms and potable (drinkable) water. Plenty of shade among the trees and picnic tables where we will have communal dinners. Bear boxes at each campsite (BRING LOCKS!). The campground has immediate access to Lake Shasta.
We'd prefer to keep the fire in the common area, so that there are always eyes on it.
Everyone should bring their own snacks and drinks. BYOB.
Options for meals:
Participate in group meals. We'd love to share meals as a family! We'll grocery shop, cook/clean together, & split the bill.
Bring your own. If you're more comfortable handling your meals individually, please do so.
Reach out to James Carter, our food coordinator, with any questions. 650.898.4722
Normally there are racoons, but last year we had our first bear. Which was exciting... be sure to bring a heavy duty lock or carabiner that can withstand a bear's claws. Keep food & trash in the bear boxes until we leave so we can keep them uninterested in us.
Friendly pets are welcome! Please take the weather and music volume into consideration when deciding whether to bring your babies.
This part is a bummer, but super important:
The nearest ER is 45 minutes away. There are no medics onsite and no Ubers available. It's incredibly important to party responsibly here. This isn't the place to take unnecessary risks.
Of course, we all take care of each other. But ultimately, YOU will be responsible for YOU.
This continues the long tradition of naming properties after the names of animals. The production company is named Marvel & Mama Lady, after James Carter & Tori Hallahan's cats. Stinky Booty Boy is the nickname of Tori Hallahan's dog.
The only way ATT can expand is if more animals are adopted. Adopt today.
